With more than 25 years in tax and financial services, Lawrence advises high-net-worth clients on financial planning, investments and complex tax matters. He is also a Managing Director with Composition Wealth.

Lawrence is the co-managing partner at Goodfriend Jacobs Bleeck & Breslow LLP, with more than 25 years of professional experience in the tax and financial services industries. He advises high-net-worth clients on a variety of financial planning, investment and tax-related issues.

He is also a Managing Director with Composition Wealth, providing investment advice to his business management clients. Prior to founding the firm, Lawrence was a principal at Goodfriend & Associates, CPAs, which he merged into Goodfriend & Jacobs. He began his career at a large CPA firm specializing in real estate.

Lawrence earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from San Diego State University, along with a minor in Japanese Language Studies. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the California Society of CPAs, and holds the FINRA Series 65 and 3 securities licenses.

Lawrence enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, reading, surfing and skiing.

Kyle specializes in entertainment taxation and business management. A former public-company auditor and financial controller, he brings a detailed, proactive perspective to every aspect of his clients’ financial lives.

Kyle Breslow is a CPA and partner at Goodfriend Jacobs Bleeck & Breslow LLP. He has a background in entertainment taxation and business management and is also a Director with Composition Wealth, providing investment advice to his business management clients.

A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Kyle began his career auditing the financial statements of public companies with Grant Thornton in San Francisco. He later became a financial controller before transitioning to business management, where he ran the tax department for a boutique business management firm and discovered his passion for helping entertainment clients with their finances.

Kyle’s favorite aspect of working with entertainers is the positive impact he can have on his clients’ lives. He believes that when working closely with a client’s finances, it is essential to know the client personally, maintain a clear view of where they stand and understand what they need to do to achieve their goals.

Kyle is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs, and holds the FINRA Series 65 securities license. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking with his wife, playing tennis and watching Shark Tank while pretending he is the fifth shark.

David Bleeck, CPA

David has spent more than a decade serving clients across music, film, television and new media. His background includes entertainment business management, taxation, audit and assurance.

David is a CPA and partner at Goodfriend Jacobs Bleeck & Breslow LLP and has spent more than a decade in entertainment business management and taxation. He is also a Director with Composition Wealth, providing investment advice to his business management clients.

Prior to joining the firm, David worked at an international entertainment business management firm in Los Angeles, serving clients in the music, film, television and new media content industries. He began his career in the audit and assurance department of a Los Angeles-based CPA firm, completing financial statement audits and reviews for mid-sized, privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from San Diego State University and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from California State University, Northridge. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs, is an Investment Adviser Representative and holds the FINRA Series 65 securities license.

He is an active member of the SDSU Aztec Mentor Program and served in the United States Peace Corps.

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the California Society of CPAs, and holds the FINRA Series 65 and 3 securities licenses.

When not working, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, swimming, reading, writing, playing music and attending the occasional music festival.
